we have an "80/30" rule in Honolulu...over 80mph or 30 over posted speed lmt...
you go straight to jail...solo bike loves this new law and they are pretty "forgiving" about speeders doing say 65-ish if traffic is also moving pretty fast...do over 85 and your toast...its amazing how quickly the new BMW bike can catch speeders from a standstill...

Mike, the other day we went to the local car show...the State Trooper had a display
with a hot hemi charger...and a couple of troopers handing out stuff...I started talking to one of them about the hot rod cop car...and then about race cars...he asked what I drove..I just said..an RS6..he quickly said,wow..that has 450 hp...and starts telling me all about the car...then he said that car needs to be driven fast once in awhile...I said, yes...come to my house....and we can go somewhere and drive it as fast as you want..he laughed..he told me he drives a corvette. You could just see him thinking about taking me up on the offer.
