Good time to do timing belt again, water pump, thermostat, o2 sensors and anything else that..
you can only do when its out..
They should cut you some kind of deal on this.. really sucks..

did all of that when the trans was replaced...9,000 miles ago....BUT good news..
I'm keeping the car...did a fair deal with the repair....basically my car has new trans, new DRC, new O2 and exhaust sensors, timing belt, water pump, new fans, all new oil and transmission lines, new rotors and pads.........and I'm having my windshield replaced (all pitted)...

RS6's should come with an engine pulling machine for the owners
Just drive the nose into and it will undo the whole thing to ready it for service.
I know no such device exists but it would be handy.

intermittent problem of it not starting...then I'd wait a minute or so and it'd start right up
happened 3 different times before I brought it in..
