Default What independent repair shop do you guys recommend in Boulder?

Just paid $650 for front brake pads and rotors at Stammler and want a good, reasonably priced independent. Any have feedback on GO Motors? They said they would have charged $450 for same job.

TIA

Default That is simply insane. That is a DIY with some beers and about $200 in parts. ASW in Broomfield

is who I recommend though, although nobody is cheap. They are offering 20% off of labor through the end of March.

Default Good advice.

Also, you may want to research Go Motors. They probably have the worst reputation around. Well, next to McDonald maybe.

Default Avoid Slipstream. They charge as much as Stammler.

I'd really recommend going down to Wheat Ridge to 3zero3. With respect to ASW, I have a bad taste in my mouth after how poorly they treated me back when I had my UrS4. Then again, this was during old management. However, i have heard some bad stories about ASW under the new management.

I would steer clear of Go on Arapahoe. Unlikely but Greg K? may have changed his ways.

Tempted to slap a coat of exterior latex over Go's bright-*** sign. Tacky.

Default Give me a call, I'm in Broomfield but might be worth the drive....

if you can return those parts to Stammler I should be able to save you some money.
If they already put them on for you then call me if you need quotes for anything else.

Default Autosport werks is a great shop! Andy/Brian will take good care of you! its close to boulder/us36

A great shop thats convient to the bus system and boulder. Most of the tuning shops are hard to get to because of their proximity but autosport werks is simple from boulder. Walk 1/2 mile to rtd station and on your way to boulder. easy or walk home like I did yesterday 16 miles
