Default Spring Fling Poker Run (May 18, 2008)

Presented by MetroDubs.com
The Poker Run is held to reward enthusiasts and to have fun and actually drive their cars with the previous 2 years having close to 40 cars at each event. The route takes the participants on about a 50 mile drive on the twisties of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Along the way, there are scheduled stops for photo ops and rest stops.
This year there will be a $10.00 entry fee with 100% of the gross proceeds will be donated to the Max Fund Foundation.

several things for the record.

1) Autobahn Premiere Service, http://www.Parts4vws.com, Detailers Paradise, and the Onion

2) I can assure you all traffic laws will be upheld and obeyed.
3) All cars welcome.
4) Jefferson County Sheriff Department has already been notified of our route. remember, this run is a fun and exciting but calm and enjoyable drive in the foothills. Racing and squealing tires should be saved for the track, not the mountains. If you cannot or will not keep this drive safe for everyone involved, the infracting vehicle's information will be reported to the proper authorities.

http://www.maxfund.org/</a

Default Actually I am going to start a fire...read message

Jon Baker has been involved with numerous illicit activities. The most recent to my knowledge is when he slid his Jetta into my S4. Then presented me with a fake insurance card. Either he did not pay the bill or just didn't have it... Are you still SR-22 Jon? You know from when you hit the girl while street racing your GTI drunk. People know about that. Have you paid your ex back for the thousands of dollars you fleeced from her? Real character for an "Event Organizer." I will not be attending I know from experience that the claims of safe driving are empty. Oh yeah, Jon, you still owe me $500 dollars from my deductable because I had to claim the $6k in damage to my car under my own policy.

well, i see some people just do not grow up.

not to air any dirty laundry here, but you need to get your facts straight before you blindly attack someone;

1) the incident between Tim and myself was unfortunate and i did give you the wrong insurance card since i have just changed policies the Wednesday prior to said accident. as i recall, my insurance company paid for the minor repairs to your car. Under Colorado state law, my insurance company paid for the repairs of your car in full. Under Progressive statute, the $1,800 in damages to my car were not covered since the accident was deemed part of an "organized racing event"

2) no sr-22 here.

3) i was never involved in any accident while under the influence of anything.

so Tim, if you would like to discuss this in private off of forums and not in the public view, i would gladly meet with you.

Respectfully,
Jon Baker

"i did give you the wrong insurance card" Remember the conversation??? I specifically, yes specifically asked you if the card was valid. Your "insurance" never covered anything. I can send you copies of the bill with, my insurance, and myself paying for the damages. End of story.
I will not be private about this. If you want to involve others in your events then those others have the right to know what they are getting into. In fact I feel obligated to warn them about your history or dangerous and irresponsible behavior.

Tim this happened in 2006. maybe you have never been in an accident, or made a mistake, one learns from these actions. also, when you are asked to NOT PARK in the area you parked in, how much sympathy do you want?

All i know is that i changed my coverage and added vehicles to my policy and i had gotten a new policy through Chapman Insurance for Progressive. the result of that was the issue of a new insurance card, i simply gave you the wrong card. I also know that my policy through Progressive paid for your repairs, i have the copies of that too. that is something that you need to take up with your insurance company. i would hate to see someone getting paid twice for this incident.

Tim, if you would like, if it will help ease your mind, i will go to the DMV and pull a copy of my driving record and post it here for everyone to see. i have zero tickets in over 2 years.

Also, i can give you the contact number for American Family to verify my current insurance policy. you will note that all three of my vehicles carry a full coverage policy with the Colorado minimum coverage met and exceeded.

thank you.
Jon Baker
