Spotted 3 A5s near Mt. Evans

One was parked at the lot at Echo Lake. it was an A5 3.2, manual. Stopped to take a picture, just as the driver started to pull out of the lot. He saw me taking a picture, and stopped to let me shoot a few frames, then I chatted with him.
Very nice guy. He was an engineer, clearly from Germany. Had all kinds of equipment hooked up and laying around the interior. Said they were doing some final high altitude testing of the ECU. Said "you can't get any higher altitude than here" and that it was going great.
I have to say, it's a great looking car, inside and out. Really really beautiful in person. Although I like four doors, I think I could be swayed to consider an S5.

Saw those A5s also near Echo Lake. On my bike so couldn't take any
pics. The lines on the A5 makes me think the S5 will be very tempting. Did you see the sports car rally coming up from Idaho Springs (mid-day Sat)? My staring at the vintage metal coming up Squaw Pass made for a dangerous descent on my bike. Must have been every MG and Triumph in the state, plus a good number of DeLoreans, vintage Lotuses (Loti?), Ferraris, deTomasos, Austin Healy's etc.
