So big news (for me) I plan to have the car DONE by DATR. Caravan anyone? :-)
The guys at AR Design have been working hard on finishing my car and it's all in primer and hopefully will be painted by the end of the weekend. I'll be assembling it during the week (it takes a week!) and it should make it's debut in the Avalon booth at DATR Sunday the 23rd.
Along those lines... anyone interested in a caravan down? I know Brian usually heads down early with a group so I'll probably be doing that. Is anyone planing to join that group?
I'm coming up on two years since I started this project, and I can't tell you how stoked I am to be nearing completion. I just wasn't finding the time to get it finished and AR Design sure came to the rescue as most shops don't want to touch a project a customer started. Many of you have been super supportive and I know would like to see it done. So make sure you find me at the Avalon booth, I'll be the one with a silly grin on my face! ;-)

I was going to do the auto-x, but decided to put it in the show. Wish I could do both, it would be awesome to see how it would do on the track!

After all I've been through I'm too excited to sleep! It's been quite the journey, but it's going to be a great looking car and one of a kind. Can't wait to see how the color looks when laid down.

That is good news, will be nice to see that thing painted. I didnt know Andrew painted too. I didnt know he had gotten shop space either. Havent heard anything from him since he moved out of Paker.
