Real Estate, snowboarding q: Best place to buy mtn condo-Steamboat, Aspen, Jackson Hole
Friend is looking. I've skied the boat a number of times, but she's wanting to know how the snowboarding is.

Steamboat FTW!
Once you get to know the mountain it is super fun! Been riding there for the last 10 years, not the steepest but there are also no lift lines. Real estate is still affordable as far as ski towns are concerned and the town is even better in the summer. I live outside of Aspen and the prices over here are unreal.

thx. I think she'll like Steamboat a lot. And of course you can get a lot more condo there than
aspen. Dont' know how prices are in jh though. I'm assuming between aspen, steamboat.

Jackson is almost as expensive as Aspen
For the middle of nowhere Wyoming, prices are insane. Steamboat just got bought last year by Intrawest (Whistler, Copper, etc...) and they are just starting a major re-development of the mountain. There's a good chance for property values too take off there in the near future, as Intrawest is already bringing more people through the town.
