Default dead pixels

So what's the latest thoughts on fixing dead pixels on instrument panels? I need to sell my 01 A6 4.2 and this is a glaring issue with it. This car is very nice, but the dead pixel thing does not fare well with the car. If anyone knows how these can be fixed easily, please advise. Also if anyone wants a sweet 4.2 for cheap please contact me.

Ali - I need $10K for the 01 4.2

it's got new a new T-belt, tensioner, water pump, T-stat, lower control arms & tires.

looks/runs/drives damn good.

pearl white over black, 92K miles. All around a very good car, but it does not get driven enough to justify keeping it.
