IMO it looks like a hack job - sorry - that notch just kills the look for me.

Im in boulder, but commute to lakewood every day, and can drive further if needed

It is a lot easier than you think. Just get a nice, sharp bit and follow the write up.

Not one of those guys, but takes all kinds. Bought a set of OEM ecodes for the S4 thinking the CC'd notch would bug me, but guess what -- the ecodes are still sitting in their boxes. I got used to the CC look, and they pass the 10' test. Will save the ecodes for a rainy day.

I followed your advice, finished it in about 1.5 hours. The soldering iron was a great tip
