wanting to keep shutter speed up on some of the other shots .Changing conditions had 400 being marginal(@300mm) for the 28-300 lens when it was dark and raining.I could have had less depth of field and had sufficient speed but was looking for both because I wasn't always taking pictures and couldn't look at settings everytime. As for the drivers ,everyone I met was great, nice guys. This was my 3rd time to hang out with Kinetic but 1st time to actually meet and be around Russell Smith and Nic Jonnson . I'd been around Lee Davis before for an entire weekend at NASA .Pat, Dan and Craig were very nice for the short time I met them and may get to hang with them some more.Randy talked with me as APR took down the pit canopy and put equipment away, he is so mellow. BTW , I'm looking to upgrade cameras at sometime to an SLR ,but with daughter starting college it hasn't been a priority.
