Let's face, with the exception of the very first race at Indy, the USGP was a bomb. The track was making almost nothing on it. GP racing here in the states is nothing more than a cult following at best. And the fact that it's held at Indianapolis is just one reason that it failed. The facilities are ultra modern, but the track lay-out is uninspiring. A GP race should be held on a proper road course, somewhere like Road America. I'm disappointed that there isn't a race here in the states, but I can't say I'm disappointed about NOT having to go to Indy one more time this year. Anyway, the bikes will more than make up for it this year. That's gonna be exciting.
