"Sonoma , California (February 28, 2008) - STaSIS Motorsports announced today it is developing the next generation Audi package for sedan-based endurance racing. Set to debut in 2009, the new program will advance STaSIS' own in-house technical development, as well as enhance technical partnerships with industry giants Alcon, Mahle Powertrain and Ohlins USA...."

my interpretation of "sedan-based endurance racing" was Rolex or ALMS. I don't dispute the costs that you associated w/ these series and agree that WCGT is fiscally advantageous for them to run in. Would I like to see STaSIS enter an R8 in Rolex GT? Hells yeah! And I've read of other teams considering it.
