with his co drivers and teammates.

Dude, reading something online, as with your statement, often relates to inaccuracy.

My experience, by webster's definition, is not a rumor.

You simply wanted to call me out, and you were wrong. Keep on trying, I will not be replying.

Fans all over the world get their info from media members, just like me. They take it on authority, period. 99.99999% have zero access to the drivers or teams, and the ones that do get a glimpse don't see what's really going on.

When you had a dinner at your home growing up, didn't mom clean the house and present a different picture than normal? My mom could be yelling at me and answer the phone a second later with a smile and a sweet "Hello". That's what outsiders see.

Do you think Mika alway drank alone in his room, or do you think people saw him drinking/drunk in public?

I haven't seen the world is round, personally. Seen photos, met an astronaut, read about it from scientific journals and text books, yet I believe it.

When a teammate says he has an issue, when people at his team say he has an issue, etc, it's pretty likely he has an issue.

I really like the guy, but the facts are the facts. I am not the first or last to acknowledge this.

There is a difference between snoogins not even quantifying his source, then searching for a source when questioned (by his own admission) and not being close to the team in any way, not working in a series, reading all his stuff online or in magazines.

I don't believe everything I read. Do you? Had it come from someone with an apparent inside knowledge, and not from someone who said Hamilton was overpaid at $300,000, It might have carried more water. But with no quantification, it's a rumor. With quantification, it's far more serious and likely accurate.

But to assert that my experience in a series, personal experience vs what someone read in a magazine, is grasping at straws.

Example: If you knew the LA Lakers media relations director, as well as their head trainer, as well as ex and current teammates, and they all said Kobe had an alcohol problem, would you believe it?

Should that carry the same weight as one guys statement, sans quantification, on a car enthusiast web site?

Now, if one person on a web site, with no substantiation, makes the same claim about Kobe, would you consider it at the same level as the above? If you would, you'd be in the minority.

    Nice try. Untracking thread.

    Mike S
