1. I don't have any data for this question. I imagine there is a little break-in, but starting with a 4:1 versus a 2:1 will still yield roughly double the bias ratio.

2. Are you assuming that just because you are on pavement that you always have high Mu? Traction on pavement can absolutely be at these low levels, especially while cornering and being hard on the throttle.
