Default Valentine 1 install

This worked out better than I thought, a little nervous tearing into a new car but it was actually really straight forward. The fuse box idea came from the Q7 forum, you have cut all the hard blue plastic away from the connector, but then it slips right in (teed up, any takers?)

http://homepage.mac.com/mattmullin/PhotoAlbum8.html</a

Default Couldn't order it when I placed mine,

But I love it in my Q7 so I may think about some after-market stuff.

Default Why not? It's been an option since the start of production. It was ordered on our first car

delivered last September.

Somehow, I wasn't aware of that... Yet it hasn't detracted from the car, so I'm ok with it

Default for some reason none of the other cars delivered locally have had it

they've all had the full leather interior ordered and mine is the first with the partial leather package and alcantara headliner.

i think many people just aren't paying any attention to it as an option. from the registry this is a fact. no prob for me. makes my ride a bit more rare

Why would you need a radar detector? This is the slow V8 right? (kidding)...In that pic it looks like your front wheel has about 3 degrees of negative camber. Optical illusion?

I didn't really consider it until after the order was in, but no big deal. It wasn't textured and I can't think of the last time I looked at my headliner, so no biggie.

I'm definitely customizing things more color-wise, when I trade for a v10 or whatever is next. They should have all options availability kinks worked out by then.

I still can't believe they don't have the online customization tools on their US website yet. It's available on Audi.de. Goes to show that they are a bit behind in the US.
