Default Sport Quattro KW engine hardcore tech info!

Can someone help me with some hardcore technical info about the migthy KW engine?
What about similarities/differences with the 7A/3B/ABY/AAN engines?
Does it share the same valve sizes and port sizes?
I've figured some details out, it has slighlty less bore due to some FIA regulations, and the block is alu. instead of iron, but what else?
Any good web site on the subject?

Default No real big differences

, but pretty much everything is different, if that makes sense... It has solid lifters, gear driven cams and of course the different manifolds and turbos.

It is generally accepted that the ADU (RS2 version of the AAN, ABY) type engine was the epitome of the 20V with its more advanced fuel injection and ignition system. If you look at the big 20V engines, like that in the 900hp Dahlback Golf, they all start with the late engines as a starting point. Remember that the stock RS2 has more power with a smaller turbo than the stock Sport due to 10 years of development.

The best place to find the differences would be to peruse the Euro Family Album (ETKA). FWIW, most of the critical KW engine parts are NLA.

If you want to see what the ultimate street (?) 20V turbo looks like, look here (check out the Special section):

Dahlback Racing site

Default would some pictures be helpful at all?

I can post some exterior only pictures of the late variant SportQ engine in my recently purchased Rally car. It was assembled and tuned by Lehmann in 1999. But it has the aluminum block and the SportQ intake manifold, 20V cross flow head. The only odd piece out is a valve cover from a 200TQ.
