More requested pictures of Interior of the Rally UrQ
Hi,
Couple of people have asked for more pictures of the interior and espescially the dash and as much of its workings as possible.
Here they are:
Passenger side, Halda and Timewise computers are on, but the car isn't moving. Note the Coursenotes tray to the right. The fuse panel in the center. The Remy Martin sticker is a sponsor sticker for the in car camera. The radio does work. The controls to the left of the radio are the vent position swith, the fan control. At the bottom of the breaker/fuse panel the are the controls for the Rally lights. They're wired into lighting combinations on those two switches for various weather conditions.

Side view of the center console. The shifter linkage is clearly visible here.
<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/38899/rallq0004.jpg" border="0"></p>
The foot pedals. The throttle is tapered for heel toe work and the clutch and brake are coated with an epoxy grit that is very rough. Note the adjustable clutch travel screw and aluminum bracket.
<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/38899/rallq0005.jpg" border="0"></p>
Driver side controls:
AC switch to the left which turns on the AC compressor. The two fuel pump switchs. The Starter buttom, and the master ignition switch. The turn signal arm on the steering wheel is where it should be and the right arm is for lights and wipers.
<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/38899/rallq0006.jpg" border="0"></p>
<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/38899/rallq0007.jpg" border="0"></p>
<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/38899/rallq0008.jpg" border="0"></p>
Rear of the car, the firewall between the gas tank and interior is to the far left. The red box is the emergency flare kit. The Foam insert is to hold items like helmets, tire pressure gauge. The blue case on the wall is for hand tools like wire cutters, pliers. The rally jack is to the right behind the driver's seat. \

Under the passenger side dash. Showing the computers.

Not much. Collection, preservation.
Occasional drive around a closed track and on city streets.
I installed the Catalytic convertor yesterday so its ready to be inspected. Doesn't sound to bad with the rally tailpipe and the 2.5" Cat midsection. The full rally exhaust is 3" stainless all the way. They're bolt on interchangeable and not too hard to install.

Re: Impressive work
That is really a piece of art. Is this the car from the TT commercial? Somebody told me it was?
Also gotta love the working A/C. What is that quote, "going fast is easy, going fast with the A/C on is not"... Something like that.
Nice car. You've been busy lately shuttling urqs back from the Northeast.....

tell me about it. Too much driving.
I don't think its the car from the TT Commercial. I haven't seen the commercial so I could be wrong. ?? Don't know, but I doubt it.

Re: Right you are, but
The end of the commercial shows a car very similiar to this one, winding it's way along a dirt road, it goes behind a tree, and becomes a TT.
One of Bruno's customers told me that was his car with him behind the wheel... Maybe they were wrong? But I don't think so...
Anyone?

Re: Right you are, but
His other car?
I think he's got another that was driven by Mouton in the 80s. He's keeping that one. That one is identified by the single Sport lights and wider grill, vents on the rear fender flares, oil cooler under the rear wing.
I think... Would like to know because its interesteing.
Anyone have a mpg of the commercial?
