Default turbo329, your friend is back.

Or it could just be a copycat. I've contacted the seller to see if any part of the scam has changed. I'd think a little sting setup with Western Union and the FBI might be in order.

Default Location given is irrelevant

Last time the car was in NY. They asked for payment to be sent to an "eBay representative" in Miami to hold in escrow, although they're probably re-routing the payment to another location because they ask you for the Western Union MTCN number. This means they may be out of the country.

The email I just received this time is identical to the previous one, so I suspect these are the same people.

turbo329, if you're out there, this is your chance to maybe get some dough back, or at least see these rat bastards brought to justice.

Yeah...thanks boys. This is exciting. I'm going to set these punks up. I'm calling the FBI now and am going to have a friend email the sender so we can track them. The money (if sent) does go to Miami. The email that I got asked for the MTCN #. WU does not allow you to send cash out of the country (at least I don't think so). ANYONE who can help bring this imbeciles to justice (and hopefully get my money back) will of course receive part of the $4400 I lost. Thank you all and let's catch this bastard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
