Sorry for the repost - I posted this as a reply to another thread, but thenthought it might be better to post it separately.
We have 3 kids 4 and under and are thinking about getting the Q7. Our plan would be to put 2 in the 2nd row and 1 in the 3rd. If we do that, how much usable space is behind the 3rd row with both seats up? What about when one half of the third row is down? It seems like there is a lot of space, but I don't know if we could really pack a lot there as it could fall over on the person in the other half of the third row. I've looked at and test driven the Q7 a few times, but I haven't actually tried to pack up suitcases/strollers etc...We're debating the Q7 versus a minivan. I think 95% of the time we'd be happier with the Q7, but the 1-2 times a year we take a driving vacation, I worry we'll miss the extra space...especially if we want to drive with an extra adult (3 adults and 3 kids in car seats/boosters). Obviously, I'm on the Audi forum hoping for people to convince me I won't miss the extra space in a minivan.
