The hitch itself bolts to the same place that the factory hitch bolts to. You'll need to first remove the rear bumper cover to expose the aluminum crossbeam. You then remove the cross beam and install the Curt hitch in its place. Lastly, you'll need to trim the cover plate (I used a jig saw + dremel) to fit around the Curt hitch.
