Greetings,
I responded to a posting in the audiworld forum regarding paint coming off the proximity sensors on the q7 back on March 14... you replied with a copy of the information: Found it while browsing through the Bentley Manual. Audi also maintains an website where you can purchase TSBs and other technical literature (if you can't get your dealer to print them out for you) TSB 91-07-49 2007 Audi Q7 VIN: 022429 - 088399 with APS system Condition: Paint comes off sensor for parking assistance. False warnings may be possible Technical Background: Adhesion of the priming on the membrane may be insufficient. Service: Replace all 4 sensors in the affected bumper for the parking assistance. I currently have my q7 in for 10k service, along with trying to get this fixed. They cannot find this TB at all in their system. I then called the number at that particular website linked to your response, and the "91-07-49" number is not the TSB#, but their reference number to that particular publication. I asked the lady (at that number) if this a genuine Audi document, and she said it was, but could not see the details (which you posted above) of the document on her system. Do you have the actual Audi TSB#, beginning with a "20" somewhere in that bulletin? Thanks! |
