...it is the first car I have owned that I just cannot find anything to modify...for me, Audi have built the perfect family hauler...it is just too damn PERFECT!

and have always modified any vehicle I have owned ... but this thing is simply wonderful and I cannot thing of what I would touch. My wife is happy. I think I will write Audi and ask for them to make a vehile less satisfying just so that I can "mess with it"

We've only done a few things to our Q7. First are the Invision DVD headrests. We do three 8+ hour trips every year. Aside from the obious DVD and game console usage, our 2 boys get to listen to their own music - they're too young to have iPods. ~;^)

The 2nd is an Electronic Brake Controller for our enclosed trailer.

I agree with you for the most part, this vehicle is almost perfect. My favorite features in order are:
1) Adaptive Suspension
2) Rear Camera
3) Smart Key
4) MMI
5) AMI
6) Heated Steering Wheel

I only have a few very minor complaints
1) I want the Nav to lower the radio volume when it gives instructions.
2) I don't want the Nav to auto-correct when I miss a turn.

I love my Q, the only item I want to add is FRONT park assist!

Go into the MMI setup and you can adjust the volume of the NAV to as low as you want it

Go to sound option; unless you have an early production Q7, in that case have to get MMI software upgrade (had to do it with my 05/2006 prod Q7)
