Default How did you make the makeshift 3rd row mats?

I see the Q7 logo on them. Where is the rubber from? Did you master an easy way to create a template, or did you have these mats made for you?

Default This is the true story...

I asked my dealer about the mat for the third-row. My dealer told me that Audi hasn't made any!!! I was offered a rubber-mat fitting the trunk when the third-row is up - for free. I made a model in paper and then I cut it out from the rubber mat. I will show it for my dealer when I got the time. Maybe I can have the copyright... :-)

Default Very nice! Some questions/observations/differences from US versions..

(1) Do you have a part number for the 3rd row floor mats? I definitely need to get a set of those!

(2) Your NAV seems to sport a 3D view. Could you check the MMI and NAV version?

NAV --> Setup
Scroll Down -> Version Information

MMI:
Car --> Version

I've posted mine at the end of this post for comparison

(2) Your arm rest has 2 open cup holders, both on the driver side. Ours is broken into 3 parts: Driver side compartment for cell, open cup holder on passenger front side and closed cup holder on passenger rear side. (very bad description. pic at end of post)

(3) You have the 3 spoke MFSW, but no paddle shifters. We get 4 spoke steering wheels with heat or 3 spoke MFSWs with paddle shifters (no heat)

(4) I love your seats!

(5) I believe your rear cargo cover has the additional netting that extends up to utilize the 2nd and 3rd row headliner holes that was asked about.

Anyway..a couple pics for comparison..
NAV, MMI and a shot of us arm rest

i bet you have blue tooth, and QuattroZack does not. unless it's one of those eu differences...

Default Shamelessly stolen from navplus.us.. TMC - Traffic Message Channel, TP = Traffic Programme

http://www.navplus.us/forum/viewtopic.php?t=216

"TMC and TP are only available in Europe. TP is Traffic Programme, a radio station which sends traffic information every once in a while. If TP is turned on, MP3 or CD would mute and you would hear the traffic information.

TMC is the Traffic Message Channel, another European thing. TMC is transmitted in the background as digital information and used by the RNS-E to calculate a new route if there is a problem on your current route. Youc an also receive TMC information before you get into your car and after you left it and listen to them in your native language (e.g. a French driver driving through Germany would hear German traffic information in French).

None is of any use in the US and you just ignore those icons on the screen. You can hide the TMC icon by turning TMC on in the Navi setup. But I haven't found a way to get rid of the TP icon."

Default Re: Very nice! Some questions/observations/differences from US versions..

Thanks.

1) See answer from another question.

2) I have a newer version than you. I toke pictures of the screen. I'll send them to you by e-mail.

3)Arm-rest. We had the option to choose the arm-rest that you describe. But we did think that ours (standard arm-rest) was doing the same job. Actually I think it's really good. I can open it.

4) I've also noticed that.

5) Thank you. I love them too.

6) Yes, exactly.

Thanks for your pics. Very nice leather.
