when is it too old to keep your Q7

Our Q7 TDi was registered 08/31/2015 so is one of the earliest 2nd gen produced. It's over 97K miles now and (touch wood) every function still works. We don't have to top up the oil between services.
The leather is still in good nick, as is most of the body - I had a 4800lb load come off the hitch and scratch up the rear bumper while the safety chains brought it under control, and there's light scratches behind the exterior door handles from use. The wheels have a minor amount of kerbing on them. Some interior surfaces are showing signs of wear and tear, like light scratches on the aluminum trims, and the map pocket behind the passenger front seat has torn from children being children, but overall it functions perfectly well as a tow vehicle and family barge.
Only issue I can remember is problems with the tailgate not latching properly about 2 years ago, and the dealer sorted that out free of charge.
We intend to run it for many more years, I'd like to see 200K miles out of it, by which time hopefully there'll be an electric option to replace it, but I'm not sure a RHD EV SUV that can tow 7,700lb with a ~650 mile range is going to show up any time soon.

I'm watching this thread because my '19 Q7 is about to cross 90K, and my wife is putting a ton of miles on it each year. I like to take good care of my cars and run them until they die (e.g. my '09 Odyssey has 225K and is still running (albeit with some oil added every now and then)).
I checked with Fidelity who linked me to Edurance for an extended warranty. Does 48/80,000 for $7700 sound reasonable?

Start buying tools and do it yourself. Not much you can't do with a jack/stands and a basic socket set. Goes double if you have a garage or paved/concrete driveway to work in. These things are not terribly difficult to wrench on, there are ton's of resources available. Once you start doing the work yourself you'll get a much better connection with your vehicle, as well as big sense of accomplishment when you've completed something.

Oh, I already do that! I've had VAG-COM for years, haven't paid for oil change, brakes, roters, spark plugs, etc. in... forever!.
I'm just worried about bigger issue items that I wouldn't feel comfortable on/couldn't do... like having to open the engine or transmission, if an electical module craps out, etc.
