I had to double check but I paid $33 at Costco for 6 quarts of Mobile 1 when it was on sale, the usual price is $10 more.

I went to FCP yesterday to get my filter which was $7.86 including tax. I asked about the lifetime warranty and in fact each thing they sell either as a package or individually is covered. There are exceptions. So when this filter is spent all I need to do is order another and return it then get a refund.

Whatever an oil change kit from fcpeuro.com or ecstuning.com is running at the time...

looks like you need to find a cheaper place. $236 for labor? That is outrageous. The cabin air filter literally takes 5 minutes to install.

Good to know. I bought the kit before I had the extractor, and just go to previous orders and click buy again. Been costing me and extra $12/change.

Well, not anymore! Thanks!

I have the older supercharged engine, so if you have the new turbocharged setup, just ignore me.

Filter isn't hard to get to. Have to remove the airbox which is two clips on the front, then a hose clamp, and electrical connector and a couple vacuum lines. Takes just a few minutes once you've done it a few times.

You'll need a GIANT socket to get the filter housing off. I think it's a 36mm or something absurd like that. I'll check when I get home.
