Default RocEuro 4M Intake

Hello boyz,
Here we go again!

Chirzfor the New Year!

To start with a bang! I got the RocEuro intake installed. Great little piece, everything counts, especially when there's not much out there for the 4M Q7. Sounds better, get a bit of supercharger whine(resonator gone), and best part, you can feel the actual extra torquies and horsies pull in together. Worth the $169 price, absolutely.

Install was easy thanks to awesome support from my new main man and fixie John of RocEuro Titan Motorworks.

That being said, Monday I'm up for stage 2 SP, Tidish!!

Chirz, fixies,

Bob

This is next on my list. Can you post a pic of the install?
Does anyone else make a intake for this vehicle?
Too bad no one makes an exhaust.

Resonator gone!

Ask John about new exciting things for the 4M Q7 😉

Hard to picture, but their tube extension (the one with butterfly wings) connecting to tge airbox removes unnecessary restiction of the OEM platic connecter. Great tinkered, 👍👌👍👌, hence the extraflow, unrestricted now, tberefore oomph!

Bob

Is there a dyno that supports their claim other than seat of pants?

Not sure, ask John . But the portable one, in my pants. The only one i trust😂😂.

Chirboiz,
Bob

PS: jokes aside, seeing is believing and the feeling it. Their opening eliminating unnecessary airflow restrictions lets more breath in, hence the "minute" power bump, per description.

me too. I would imagine they still get paid wether it’s from one of their affiliates or direct.

I've been running the ORT intake for the past couple of months. Install is pretty straight forward, but be careful about the clamp at the SC side as there isn't much overlap or a shoulder to catch. Improper alignment of the clamp could net you a leak and it's buried under the airbox so you wouldn't see it at a glance. It's a smart design given how good the stock cold air function and volume of the airbox and filter is. Nothing to really improve on the OE box and filter, so focusing on improving the inlet pipe was the right move.

If you're looking for additional wine, there is a sound deadening piece of foam in the airbox opposite the intake opening. You can remove this for a little extra whine.
My APR stage 1, ort intake, and muffler delete make for a tame refined ride at low inputs around town, and a fire-breather when running wide open...
Totally fixed my driving experience, now I am all grins when I drive and look forward to getting behind the wheel.

I was coming from a tuned W204 C63 to the Q7, so I was pretty quick to jump on the tune wagon and open things up, so glad I did.
Now the best of both worlds, practical family hauler and tow rig, with enough snarl and go to keep me smiling.
I'll go stage two SP shortly to get some more torque lower in the rpm range.
