Unfortunately, I have no idea why this problem is happening to you nor how to solve it - I will say I will not be getting another Audi due to the quite frankly horrible reliability these cars made in the past 4 years have been. Wish you luck!

UH - he bought a wrecked/possibly totaled car that has not been repaired.

He can start and apparently drive?? - but its not holding a charge? Which battery and maybe the hybrid system? With the airbags deployed - I'm surprised it starts at all.

This is a complex car that needs to be repaired by a certified Audi specialist.

Sorry to say - but this is not the forum for help as it is not a repaired car after a serious wreck.

As for PunsGalore - this has nothing to do with Audi - it is 100% due to the condition of the car post accident.

Yes, this problem has nothing to do with Audi - just sharing my thoughts about the reliability of the newer “normal” Audis

this is a good place to start. I would look for either a blown fuse or a something in the charging system that might be off. OP, do you have a multimeter and can you check things for continuity?
