Yes
The OEM ones come out by prying on one of the sides. The power wire comes off by using a clip/connector.
The new ones go in reverse to the OEM ones. It is a 2 minute per door job. In my case I had to trim back a bit of the door plastic as the new ones were very tight.
This is my $10/set of 4:
All I see under door is this little light - (2018 Q7 Prestige).
Does it go there?

Just picked up a 2024 Q7 55 and I'm thinking of installing those third party puddle lights. Any recommendations/experience from the collective group?
Here was one I found:

Not to rain on the parade, but this is one of the dumbest trends yet. I’m no one’s brand sheep. You cannot pay me to advertise, and I certainly won’t pay for the privilege. No-logo puddle lights for me, thx.
Even worse: light up badges on the hood / grille. Terribad.

I remember a man who rearranged his car badges to say VOVLO , I'm much more annoyed by stuff that says "Sent from my I-phone".

In my experience two types of aftermarket lights exist. The cheaper type are much larger projection, not as bright and are blurry. A second type exist, cost a bit more but look almost identical to OEM.
