I have over 100 miles on now and no issues.

Did you had to take it to the dealer for vcds coding adaptación?
If yes. How much ?
Do you have the part number for the shutter motor ?
besides the motor, anything else needed for installation?
thanks.

--I have a VAG COM and did the VCDS myself. Super easy
--Part number: 95B-965-201-AA. Ordered from GenuineAudiParts.com for $52 shipped
--Just basic tools and time to do the installation. I did not have the dealer do a software update. I may do that in the future. I used this video to help me disassemble everything:
. The hardest parts were getting the 2 bolts loose up in the wheel well that are hidden and getting the shutter back together after putting new motor in. They do offer a whole new motor and shutter for around $350 that some guys replace.

glad to hear it mine just felt 1400 miles over the warranty so I guess I'll be buying the part and tear my stuff apart myself as well.

I have the same problem, and replaced the motor. Now need to do the adaptation. If anyone can please tell me, can I use OBDEleven to perform the adaptation or need to get VCDS?

I search part number 95B-965-201-AA and found out the motor won't fit my 2017 Q7. But they suggest to buy the whole shutter for $275
I guess that would include the motor as well, correct?
