And yes my dealer says this is normal and expected. Could the fact that I drive a lot maybe help it burn more oil (i.e. I have highway stretches where I"m going fast but then I also hit stop and go commute traffic at times, etc).

I haven't bought the Audi Care or extended warranty as I was holding out trying to figure out if this vehicle is actually not a keeper, etc. It is confusing/concerning to hear others have the issue and then others do not.
My 3.0T thus far has not been burning oil, but if it was to start AND progress - snowball's chance in hell would I consider keeping the car post-warranty (rsm219's post is the reason why).

I’ve had 4 cars with the V6T engine, amd the highest consumer of oil was a ‘10 S4 which would use about 1L/10,000 km. My Q7 uses just under.a L every 15,000 km, which is fine AFAIC. The consumption seems to remain consistent as mileage accumulates.

I used to own a 2013 Q5 2.0T and it was burning oil. About 8,000km / Litre.
Now I am driving a 2019 Audi Q7 3.0T and it is still burning oil. About 8,000km / Litre.
I used to think oil burning was strictly on the turbo engine but it seems that my 3.0 supercharger is still burning oil. Not to a point that I need to be concerned, but I guess it is what it is.

I have a 2019 q7 3.0 and I'm adding a quart about every 2500 miles. I think this is excessive. Didn't expect this from a high end German car. My Porsche 911 and E63 MB don't consume like this.

thats crazy. I might not even burn a whole quart in a 5000 OCI. Granted when the oil is older you do burn it faster.

I would say anything over 2 qt in 10k OCI is excessive regardless of what Audi says. 4 qt per 10k is nuts. Something wrong with that engine

I had this issue for the first 10k miles or so on my 2018 q7 3.0. However, since my last oil change 4k miles ago, the oil level remains full in MMI. I did switch to Mobil1 0w-40 in the last oil change; it's not clear whether it's an engine break-in thing or using different engine oil
