Default Next 2021 Navigation Map Update?

Any idea when the next map database update will be made available? I thought the new version came out in April of each year, but I could be wrong. My current version is the newest available, but I'm surprised to see it still doesn't show streets around my location that I know have been in existence for 2 years at least.

And is there a video that walks through the process?

Thought 2021 is already out.

I just updated on my 2019 Audi Q7 via SD today.

I’m located in Canada.

it took me a while to install as the first few tries the update kept saying no valid file can be found. Was using a Mac and tried with Fat32 and Exfat and none of them work.

Decided to dig up my dusty windows laptop, reformat the SD with fat32 and download the zip file from the site, and then unzip the file directly into the SD card and the update went successfully.

Yes, if at all possible, please upload your NA map database files to Google Drive so those of us "south of the [Canadian] border" can access them. The reason for asking is that a poster in a related thread provided information from Audi USA that U.S. owners would no longer be able to download and install the NA database from the myAudi website or app via SD - just OTA regional updates. For some reason, Canadian owners apparently still have the SD download capability. Many thanks!

Ok. I've uploaded 2021 NA digital map data downloaded directly from Audi Connect Canada to Google Drive. Took me 3 hours to upload the file (slow upload speed).

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1beD...ew?usp=sharing

2021 NA Map Data for Audi Q7 - The file is pre-zipped by Audi which is roughly 11GB.

The unzipped files are about 14GB.

Once downloaded the zip, do a direct extract to SD card itself. The SD card must be formatted with FAT32. ***use Windows***. Tried with Mac 4 times and every single time it gave me a 'unable to find valid map data when trying to install through Audi MMI.

There should be 2 folders and 2 files.

I will leave the link for a week and delete it.

Well, hate to say it.Downloaded and unzipped to a Fat32 stick. My USA Audi Q7 (2018), says it could not find valid files to download. Tried three times. Sounds like our USA version may have something different in our system that won't allow us to install. Thanks anyway for posting the files.

Many thanks for your time and efforts. I was able to download the files from Google Drive and then extracted them directly to a newly formatted SD - I think that is key. My SD was formatted as exFAT 32; with Windows 10 Home, I couldn't select FAT 32 for formatting. After inserting the SD into my 2019 Q7, the installation proceeded smoothly and was completed in about 30 minutes. The only slight hiccup was that it took nearly 2 minutes for the MMI to initially read the files and then start the installation process. I'm glad I was patient enough to let that happen.

You must check your code for maps license.
2018 MY should have the latest update like 2020/2021.
After that need to extend license.
You can check it in installed codes in red menu.

same for me. I am the one who uploaded the 2020/2021 version online. I think I am past the 30 month from production on my 2018 Q7 as it says the same thing as yours.
I am ok with the map I have as almost always I hook up my phone and use Google map anyway. Much better than on board map.
