You disable it with OBD eleven. Go to Side marker lights and click to turn off with 10points.

So doing that will stop the disable warning from coming on?

Yes warning will not come on cos side marker light is switched off.

Appreciate your quick response. Just one last set of questions.

1. Do you need OBD11 PRO verison
2. Is that iOS version as I have only an iPhone.

Any recall or class action on Marker Light issue

I am also getting same error in Q7 2019 with less than 50k miles, seems like a bad quality.
i tried with VCDS and after diabling light error goes out.

Note: Marker light shows no defect although!

I have the same problem, it is covered by new car guarantee and extended guarantee. I paid only 50.00+tax deductible.

2017 Q7 same marker light error

How frustrating! I have a 2017 Q7 with 70,000 throwing this same error and I can't find anything wrong with the lights. It's really odd how I can drive the car for a period of time without the error, then suddenly it'll appear. it'll repeat every 30 seconds or so, then not pop up for the next 10-15 minutes. I've seen references to VCDS and OBD11....I'm a serious noobie. Can anyone tell me how I can disable the lights so I can stop the annoying dinging?
