Now that's just sad, but on a par with VW products generally. And to think I pity Range Rover owners. With Porsche the only VWG brand above the study average, maybe the old saying of "lease German, buy Japanese" has an element of truth!

Many Audis, many other brands, and this to me does not ring accurate - because we don't know what the issues were. I've filled out many of the JD Power surveys. MEH.
None of my Audis have had any real issues. I'm betting Audi ranked low because of people reporting issues with MMI. That's the most irritating part of the car. Luckily I have not had many tech issues myself. So i could just be really lucky, or i just jinxed myself.

Yes, predicted reliability. Audi is no Toyota or Lexus, but are more reliable then the British/Italian Counterparts. BMW is the leading German brand for reliability, according to them

How does CR get their information anymore since people don't subscribe to magazines anymore. The last time I took at CR survey, it was scan tron!!!
As somebody said earlier, often these dependability surveys gather people who don't know how to use the car's technology and lists that as an issue. I'm at 115K miles on my Q7 with only the water pump as an issue. Heck I"m still on my original battery! That's better than my Escalade ESV and even my wife's BMW X7.
