There are other small issues, but they are either fixed or not bothering me much.

Okay - I'll be the happy guy.........
15,000 miles and the car has been perfect. Absolutely no issues.
Did have an issue with automatic "up" on the window - but easily fixed.
I love:
- ride
- looks
- how it handles in bad weather
- mileage
- quietness
- layout of technology
- not many of them out there
I wish:
- I could lock it when it's idling (warming up)
- for more leg room in the back seat
- for a dip stick
- more storage room near the driver
- bigger cup holders
Great car and I'm being a little whiner about that other stuff.
How lucky we all are that we can own a car like this !!!!!

After having the car a month, we lost all sound in the car. Stereo, Nav Guidance , Telephone. Turned out to be a failed portion of the 5F module. Dealer replaced that but then Wifi stopped working. Believe it was a registration issue with the new module and AT&T. Was finally resolved but it took over ten days to figure it all out. Thankfully the dealer took care of us and loaned us a Q7 for the duration. All good now. "Stuff" happens. I will not be deterred from loving this car. We ordered it exactly how we wanted it and it's an incredible machine.

My experience has not fully met my expectations for a flagship German luxury vehicle. This is my first Audi, and frankly, I've spent waaay too much time at the dealers - grateful that they are all great folks, and are focused on making me a happy customer. My problems are documented here, but having to replace the steering column for a new car is a bit disconcerting and they returned the car and the steering wheel heater no longer works. I've had to bring in Audi USA, and I've discussed my frustration with the manger of my dealer.
One good thing: I've been able to drive just about every Audi model (except the A8) while my Q7 is in the shop. It makes me appreciate how well Audi engineer their vehicles.
Now, my Q7 is back in the garage, where it belongs.

I haven't seen my Q7 in over a month now. I had to look at pictures last night to remember what it looked like. It has been a constant nightmare experience since day one from every aspect possible, and each time I think it is fixed something new happens.

My experience has been annoyances such as the steering wheel column making a humming noise when turning and an even more annoying knock in the cabin when the car stops and goes. I took it in 3 times for the cabin noise. The technician acknowledged the noise but said it was normal. I complained that a 70k car shouldn't be making this noise. They supposedly test drove a couple of the new Q7 they had on the lot and said it made the same noise. They even contacted TAC, which said the noise was normal. This is my first Audi and most likely my last. I may be looking to sell and opt for a Lexus.

I have a 2012 with 90+ K miles. it just suffered a catastrophic failure for the first time......one of the struts that holds up the rear hatch leaked and failed! I can't believe it.....only 90K on a hatch strut......*^)
