Default Disable "Stop/start"

Is there a way to disable the stop/start in my 2017 Audi Q7 Prestige?

Thanks, Rick

OBD11 or similar. Very simple, no long coding needed.

Or press button on dash every time you start the car. Personally, i pull the shifter back once more to put the vehicle in “S” mode. Much more fun to drive and no Stop/Start..

Is there a way to change the delay before the stop initiates? Stopping at a stop sign for 1 sec should not cause the stop-start to engage. Should be a 5 sec threshold or something.

I have learned to do that by modulating brake pedal pressure.

As Force-1 mentioned, if you don’t press real hard on the brake pedal at stop, it doesn’t seem to kick in.

Or just install this:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...08711407%22%7D

I bought one for my '21 SQ5 S/B off Amazon, however, a quick didn't find one on Amazon, but it was listed on AliExpress.

Did you install it? The instructions look very poor. Were better instructions included? Cheers

Handydoctor, when you state "OBD11", exactly what do you mean? When I plug it in, will I find the "stop/start" elimination setting?

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Yes, it's one of the menu item. Directly click it. Much easy than enabling headlight assistance for example, which requires 3 long coding selections.

Quick Reply: Disable "Stop/start"
