Default Audi Care Price Increase

Costco couldn't find my S5 wheel lock key this morning so headed to my Audi dealer for the "God Key".

While there decided to try and buy Audi Care 60K/70K Package for my Q7 as 6K is next month. Unknown to me the price jumped on 15 Jan from $1199 to $1599.

Just a heads up as all packages jumped in price.

that's a steep increase. the 60k service is the majority of the cost of that package. plugs, belt, etc. is where the cost is versus just a regular oil change. I think a brake fluid flush is included as well at 60K but don't quote me.

I always thought audi care with a new vehicle purchase was a pretty good deal... I happened to luck out on a few cars I bought used that had it attached already...

I would think at a reputable indy shop a 60K on a supercharged 3.0T Q7 shouldn't be more than $850 or so...

Bought the 10k - 40k package for $1499 a couple of months ago and it’s now $200 more. Oh well..

I had the original Audicare package and having used it up, regret getting it in the first place. Could have gotten most of the service at my local mechanic for less than 1/2 the price, without the added shlep to the dealership.

I didn't think about that... however where I live there are so many dealer options I never really think about the trip to the dealer as an "inconvenience"...

The dealer that I prefer to go to is at least an hour away, more with traffic. The closer dealer is Audi of Brooklyn, which some said was a good place to get service - but given my experience with NYC metro area dealerships, I avoid it like the plague. My mechanic is a leisurly 15 minutes' walk from home.

that totally makes sense and don't blame you one bit. I have had more than one dealer within 20 minutes from me but have always traveled 2x that distance since I saved on labor and the parts were tax free out of NH. I also seemed to have a better relationship with them and their loaner car availability seemed better....

Thanks for the heads up, very timely thread for me. I'm in Canada and I had my first 5 services included with the car purchase ('19 A6). Today was the last one (75K km).

If anyone cares, the price for the next 3 services (90-105-120) around here is CDN$1650 + tax (~1860 in Toronto )
I didn't plan to buy right away, but the guy told me it's last year's prices that will go up soon. Normally I would dismiss it as sales BS, but given this thread, I decided to go for it lol.
Also, seems like in Canada it's sold in packs of 3, $1860 (~US$ 1380) for 3 visits ain't that bad.

$1400 US for three services seems insane unless they are doing a lot of fluid changes (trans, diff, etc.). I would highly recommend seeking out some numbers from a reputable independent mechanic if you can find one...

I'm comparing it with US prices in the first post which are US$1600 for 2 services.
I prefer doing regular services at Audi, and paying for each of them separately is >50% more expensive.
