Jesus. That's like $25k difference between Q7 and SQ7 trims. Enjoy to those getting it. I'm glad I didn't wait for this.

A little too high IMO too. Given that most components remain the same, the price difference is essentially mostly for engine.

$25k? Isn’t that math a bit exaggerated? Yea sure it’s a big difference when comparing to the base Q7, but the low end base 45-model Q7 is also a 4-cylinder 2.0T. The fair comparison would be comparing the premium plus base Q7 55 TFSI to a base premium plus SQ7... and that difference is $21k. And if you compare base prestige 55 vs prestige SQ7, the difference is $19.2K. That’s about what is expected when you consider the price delta between the competitions’ comparable trim levels. For example, the price delta between a base X7 40i vs 50i is $18.7K and even larger between a 40i and M50i at a whopping $25.7K! Not sure why you guys are complaining. Seems Audi has priced it just right. In my opinion, less than I expected.

X7 M50i base price is $99,600 before options. That’s $25.7K more than a base X7 40i. We can argue that the X7 M50i is a direct competitor to the SQ7 since both have 3 rows of seating at about the same level of luxury and performance. Yes the X7 M50i has slightly more hp but the SQ7 has more peak torque and is a few hundred pounds lighter. If anything, it looks like the SQ7 is a much better value at $14,800 lower base price than an X7 M50i. The only scenario where the SQ7 has a less attractive price tag is if you’re leasing. But that’s not Audi’s problem.... well I guess it kinda is lol

i think they priced it higher to discount it more, audi knows that bmw and mb have discounted rates to make leases more attractive. I’m sure when time comes In a few months I come up with x7 m5.0 lease numbers at my audi dealer they will find a way to work it out...
