Yes, the 2020 S/Q7s are the dual touch screens.

So I tested the VIM today on my RS5. It won't play while the car is in motion, but other stuff worked.
When I find time, I'll try it on the 2021 SQ7.

Did you make sure you restarted the MMI after the changes?

Yes I did. The hood was open for the adaptation, and I restarted the MMI (long press of the volume button on the center console until the screen rebooted). The zooming of the map worked while driving. So I knew at least that part of the adaptation took.

There was one setting, the very first one, something related to speed. It was "active" already. So I did not change that. But as I am thinking about it, it may have to be set to not active. Not sure...

Try setting it to "Not Active" and see if that solves it.

Ok, the setting selection for that item is not active or not active.

It's on speed threshold. Since I don't know what gear selection will do, I left this alone.

It is possible that my RS5 doesn't have the same Adaptation item for the Video speed. I have still yet to check out the SQ7.

I revisited the Q8/RSQ8 post by jrjunior31. I was able to change the Diagnostic Session to VW, and the Value to Development mode. But then after that, when I entered the Adaptation area, I did not find Testmode_Video_speed_cutoff item. This is supposed to give you the threshold input, but this doesn't exist on the RS5.

So, I need to check the SQ7 to see if it has that item in the Adaptation menu.

Yes, it's possible that it could be different. I know there's differences between the Q8 and the Q7.

Im trying to get it to work in my Q8. Any chance you know what the settings for the Q8 are?

The process should be almost identical to the Q7. Try the steps I posted.
