Default Wheel Arch Trims for Q7

Was anyone able to order your new Q7 with the wheel arch trims WITHOUT having to get 21" wheels or the S-Line Package?

I placed an order for 2012 Sline prestige but can not add on the wheel arch trims to the order unless I get the 21" wheels which adds on the Sline package which forces me to get the black interior and brush aluminum trims.

I don't see why if they are building my truck from scratch and just add on the wheel arch trim. I'll pay for them.

just order them seperately and put on afterwards.

if you haver a search im sure there are the part numbers for them in a thread some one posted.

quite exspensive for what they are.

it depends on the wheel width. you could get 20" BBS alloys on the Q7 which also added the trims.

i think its 10J width wheel which add them on.

Yeah, buying them after delivery is so expensive plus installation charges. I like it to be install by factory while I can.

The 20" BBS alloys is an option from Audi? which will add the wheel arch trims?

Did you inquire about the off-road styling package? Honestly I don't get how a larger wheel would be spec'd with a trim package for off road use. I looked into this as a dealer installed option after buying my '10 off a lot and it was ridiculous what they wanted. You can buy them from genuine Audi parts and self-install from what I understand.

well in the UK they were. 20" but 10J so the width gave the wheel arch trim added on.

I think the off-road wheel arch package is different from the more subtle thin wheel arch of the Sline package. The off-road covers the entire fender flare. See comparison with Hasser's awesome Q7.

Yeah, totally different - for some reason I though you were asking about the wheel arches from the off-road package.

I wish someone would make an aftermarket copy of the S-Line wheel arch.. and maybe sell the whole kit for $200 vs. the $900+ you have to pay for the factory parts... just insane pricing on those parts.

Does anyone know the part # for the S-line wheel arch trims?

I posted all the part numbers and insane Audi prices on this forum a year or more ago. Will see if I can dig it up. I too have looked for replacements for over 3 years that are "affordable". No luck so far...

Ask and ye shall receive:

Left front (2 pieces)

4L0 853 727 B GRU 186.03

4L0 853 717 B GRU 272.08

Right front (2 pieces)

4L0 853 728 B GRU 186.03

4L0 853 718 B GRU 272.08

Left rear (3 pieces)

4L0 854 819 A GRU 186.03

4L0 853 817 B GRU 186.03

4L0 853 827 A GRU 186.03

Right rear (3 pieces)

4L0 854 820 A GRU 186.03

4L0 853 818 B GRU 186.03

4L0 853 828 A GRU 186.03

These parts all come primed ready for paint. Prices however do not include paint, or tax
