Today is our day for the turn in. The '09 has about 63K miles on her. It is turning out to be an emotional sort of day.
That being said, not having found another vehicle that I like better or that I felt comfortable in, we went ahead and bought a '15 TDI over a month ago because YES I was adamant about staying with a diesel. She comes with a generous warranty and will get the fix in the future.
I am proud to remain in the Audi Q7 family. It has been hands down the best car I have ever driven, meeting our passenger, comfort and safety needs. This is not just a car that gets one from point A to point B.
As a tribute to the '09 I have decided to move her plates onto the '15. The '09 has been lovingly cleaned and prepared for her turn in. Nothing but respect for this vehicle.

Got the fix last week. The engine seems to rev higher before shifting. Also doesn't seem to have that awesome low end tractor-beam acceleration that it used to but could be my imagination.

I've driven 3 fixed ones. In comparing those to my unfixed 2011, there is a difference. I'm accepting this and still buying a stop sale 2015, because even at 85-90% performance these fixed TDI's are still better than anything out there.
