Removing S-Line Fender Trim...
#31
Can you not mask one side and possibly white plastic dip it or whatever that paint stuff is or even paint it with kids washable paint so you can have a temporary look and see if you like it before you commit.

You could also just buy some white tape and tape over them. Won't look good close up obviously but you'll be able too see what they'll look like from 15 feet back. Plastic dip can be a pain to remove.

Do not attempt to remove your S-Line trim if it came installed from the factory.
The factory uses a combination of epoxy and double faced tape.
You will not be able to get the epoxy off without damaging the paint.
End result is I will most likely have the trim painted in the coming weeks.
^These black tabs are rock hard, solid epoxy or plasti-weld. There is no way I could remove these tabs without risking painting damage. At least none that I know of. If anyone has any ideas please share.

Can you shed any light on removing OEM from these tabs?

they are not clips. it's just epoxy or industrial grade silicone.
use a blow dryer or heat gun on low setting... heat the fender right above the trim and slide a plastic trim tool behind it... as it heats pry up the trim piece and slide along. if you do not have trim tools already or the ability to buy them in your area you can purchase plastic putty knives in different sizes but trim tool is best and if you buy a set you'll use it any time you work with plastic and wont break clips, tabs, trim, fabric etc.
