Default Rattles from back seat

anyone else getting rattles from the back seat area.. kind of like a low rattle- only when going over rough roads. I thought it was the seats, or door, not finding anything.

Default a few known issues

<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/q7/threads/2671.phtml#16740">BeanDoc 997 and SilvrBullitt</a>

And my friend had a latch on second row big seat that rattled. I was searching for a post and found <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/q7/threads/1469.phtml#8788">this one</a>, close enough!

Default Same issue here - its the rear seat backs smacking against one another. Puting one down and

leaving the other up is a good way to diagnose it.

Default 7 seat option? --.

Mine had it and was obviously the latch on the center section. Black vinyl electrical tape wrapped around the post cured it for me. Design flaw has the latch and post connection metal on metal with no load (unlike a door) so it just moves around.

Default It is the bigger seat, put it down you stop rattle anyway

as the release cable is pulled tight inside the seat.
Put small seat down, you will still have rattle...or maybe you have a different problem!

Default that was actually my aunt's Q7

her small seat was stuck in the position of being pushed all the way forward so there was almost zero legroom.

Default Re: Rattles from back seat- Update

Ok, I have tried everything- all the normal spots to quiet--- still getting the rattle, it almost sounds like its coming from under the seat--- that sounds crazy- and I'm dropping it off to get looked at-but i wonder could it have anything to do with the 20" tires. Wondering if i should have gone with the 19's

Did you ever find a solution to this rattle? I get the same rattling noise in my Q7.
