I found out yesterday I have to replace the bushing on my rack &pinion . I would like to know what's the best brand for rack&pin and struts for audi q7 2015 3.0 169518 miles

Looking on Rock Auto I see that BBB, Bosch and Cardone racks are all out of stock. What bushing are you talking about? Mounting bushings? Can the dealer or a local steering specialist (such as for commercial vehicles) offer just the bushings?

If you have to find a rebuilt rack, go for Bosch brand. A new one at the dealer lists for about $1,700, which is ridiculous.

If you need shock absorbers, use Bilstein B4 (what I installed on mine). Sachs are ok too. Use new shock mounts.
