Q7 RHD arrives 07/07/2006 yahoo-oh no problem.
Yes the first car in Ireland as promised but for two small problems.
First, I went away because they told me It would be here for monday, a week after touch down in Cork (Is it a world wide rule - that cars must arrive in the furthest possible port from destination)and then be sent by slow transporter to Dublin and it arrived on thursday. Anyway I beat a track home to find my second problem.
After 6 months of waiting ordering specifying checking emailing browsing looking discussing in various orders. Audi, as in some part of audi and I do not know which where or how mixed up my order and sent me and my collegue each a five seat version instead of seven.
AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!.
On the bright side in 8.5 hours I will have a Q7 and in three months I will have a new one. (i knew I was right to buy an Audi), yes you did read it correctly. They are going to replace it. I have one week to review options.

S-Line Cobalt is pretty classy in the flesh. But I will give serious consideration to the Mugello over the next week. My friend got tinted rears but I think mine is cool as the black interior adds to the slight tint already there. He will not shut up about his sun roof so we must swap cars for an hour or two so I can give that a second thought. It is funny when the two of us drive around, same colour same rare car. But perhaps that novalty will wear off (mugello here I come). I still prefer the other wheels but if it is the S-Line signature then perhaps it is wise to stick with them.
I love the performance from the TDI. For a two ton road whale it shifts.
I put it in sport mode and it was a case of select target and touch throttle. The package is so good, this car is begging to be released, it just has to be reigned in constantly. It is like my neighborhood just got smaller. I cant wait to go on a country run.
It was funny when I was in the jam of cars coming off the car ferry from the UK because most of the brits recognised it immediatly and wanted to know how I got one. One guy was amazed that he came to little ol' Ireland and 1 minute off the ferry he saw the car he wanted.
Air is much firmer than I expected after previous posts. All this and I get a new one in three months , it's like two birthdays in one year.

That's my point too. If the S-Line PKG is going to delete one of the two power ports on the gear box, then with that package the ashtray/cover should be included so there would be 2 available power outlets. Do we know if that's the case for US?
