Q7 LPG Conversion
#2
In general, yes it is possible.
LPG is very common in Australia, UK and Germany. There are more and more comanies doing this kind of retrofit towards LPG.
It is also possible to TDI engines. Even with the turbocharger.
I have seen and driven a Phaeton 3.0 V6 TDI and a A6 3.0 TDI running with additional LPG.
Its clear that it cant be be full LPG running car (as with regular gas, where only the gas is needed to start the car). Diesel + LPG is called bi-fuel, so the car is still using diesel fuel and additional LPG to run.
Means less diesel fuel is used and better performance.
To answer you question: It seems not possible at the moment to retrofit a Q7.
I have never seen a Q7 TDi running with LPG (I have never a Q7 LPG at all). I think there is nobody at the moment doing this.

There are dozens of threads in german internet forums discussing this topic too. Result: nobody have seen one, no company offers this (at the moment).
I think this has something to do with the fact, that is might be better (or its mor common in Germany) to retrofit a TDI to use vegetable oil.
