Q7 knock sensor problem -- '07 3.6L

Default Q7 knock sensor problem -- '07 3.6L

Got a CEL tonight....checked code and it is P0327 - knock sensor. I read somewhere that this could be a result of a loose or cracked connector? Or it is not torqued properly? Help!

Just chiming in that I received the new letter without having the car back to the dealer post-fix for any issues.

3.6L is a gasser not a diesel, there is no post-fix.. and an 07 should go to an indy mechanic and never a dealer, unless your made of money.. then why own such an old car?

Knock sensors are bolted to the side of the head, they are usually easy to access and inspect.. sorry I dunno where it is specifically on your engine, but I bet I could find it in a few mins after taking the engine covers off.

FYI: P* codes from a generic scanner can send you down rabbit holes, Generic scanner might say knock sensor, but a VAG Diagnostic tool could mention nothing about knock sensor and point you to the real issue.
