I picked up my 2012 Q7 TDI on sept 19, 2011 and have 4200 miles on it already. I am writing this postig as my family and I are on yet another roadtrip get away. I will have 5k miles on it by end of week and har already scheduled for my 5k service. Thats all in about three months! I know alot of drivers out there put way more than that a month, but I am on pace for 18k miles a year. Normally i have averaged 11k a year in the past ten years! But the TDI experience has been so awesome we just love the ride! I I figure if I bought it, might as well use it Any thoughts from others? Care to make me feel better?

my Q7 has 32,000 miles on it in 4 years.

so only 8,000 per year.

we picked ours up late june and im a few thousand away from the 15K service... the road trip to visit family for new years should take care of that


hell if i thought i could keep the thing under 18K/yr i might have leased it...lol

Just pasted 35k last month. Got my '10 TDI in Oct 2009 I think.

Not quite 18k/year mileage, but still a lot of driving.

Consider I have 2 other cars.

I got my 3.0 TDI in Oct 2006 and it has just passed 30k mile mark
Probably because I lent it to a friend for a few days while he was moving house!

Got mine 2008 4.2 on Oct 6 2008. Will be at about 61K when I will drive back to Chicago from Colorado in a few days.

we got our 2011 Q7 TDI back in April of this year.... we took few trips in Texas and one across the country.
we are now at 23K miles in just 8 month

Love the TDI for the long trips.... great car
