Default New Tires for 20's

Hello

I have Goodyear eagle LS tires. They have the loudest road noise problem iv ever heard the dealership is doing nothing about it they just said thats how the tire is.If i buy a different tire for my 20's what all season tire would you recommend for less road noise.

Thanks

ONLY the S/Ts if your going Proxes and keep them in the mid 40s. I live part time at 8k feet with an 1/6 mile driveway - they perform beautifully in the Winter. Other times in Arizona on very hot streets they outside grip very well on high speed cornering and are rather forgiving on rough pavement.

Probably not the most popular, but I'm running Bridgestone Dueler HPs. Love them. Here in the north east, terrific balance between wet weather, dry weather, and winter traction. Will likely replace OEM tires with these as they are available in 20" size for $180 each from Tire Rack.

Default The all season 275/45/20 Conti's that came on my July 06 Q7 have been very good - low road noise, ..

good traction, and treadwear looks low after 15,000 miles. On a Mercedes ML, I had good luck with 275/55/17 Yokohama Geolanders - again, low noise, good traction and treadwear.

Default Yokohama Geolanders

I had the Eagle F1GSD# tyres on mine and the noise got so bad that I hanged them when they were only half worn. The Geolanders are quiet though they do give up a little grip to the Eagles. Bu conversely they ride a little softer. I'm very happy with my decision and the price was pretty decent from Just Tires.
