Default New Q7s getting Bridgestone Dueler?

Our car has arrived and went to look it over, it looks like the the new Q7 Prestige is getting Bridgestone Dueler HL 400-anyone else getting these on a new delivery? The reviews on this tire do not look that positive from what I have seen

My 09 had the Dueler HL 400 on it and I have nothing good to say about the tires. They were terrible in the snow and now with my new tires (Firestone Destination ST) I have realized that they were not even that good in dry conditions. The Q7 now handles more responsive than it has ever. I just wish it didn’t take me 2 ½ years to change the tires.

Duelers are trash. I just got rid of a set that were delivered on my X5. I really wish I had not used them for a few months before getting rid of them. Conti DWS is sooo much better under every condition.

I drove a 2008 Mazda CX-9 GT before my Q7. It had Dueler HL 400 tires on it, and they were crap. Just about everyone on the CX-9 forum I hung out at hated them.

Sounds like my experience with Bridgestone Duelers is similar to others. They didn't seem to be particularly good at anything...hard to believe they haven't been able to improve the performance more over time.

Funny, we received our Q7 prestige s-line a few weeks ago and it has Pirelli's...we are in southern CA.

My 2012 came in at the beginning of December 2011 with the Pirelli's too. I'm happy with them.

Last year I picked up my fully loaded 2011 Prestige S-line with Dueler H/L 400's too. They totally suck and are so noisy.

It's ridiculous that Audi puts on such crappy cheap tires for a top of the line Q7. I can understand them being stock on a Mazda CX-9, but on a $65-75K SUV...WTH!

FWIW my 2011 S-Line Prestige came with Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico.
