need help/advice on sunroof tint...
we have 2010 Q5 w/ panorama sunroof which I want to tint, but two tint shops told me not to tint pano sunroof, and two other shops said it can be done "if you don't go too dark"...
Any one here has tinted their sunroofs, and did you have any problems/cracks? What tint/film was used?
Q5 is relatively "new" model, so I decided to post the question here.
thanx a lot

Just had my Q7 done today with Hüper Optik Nano-Ceramic 35% for $195.00. Installer has direct experience with Q7's, and says that anything darker than 35% will cause heat buildup and cracking.
He really did an excellent job and was a real artist. No computer precuts for him, He says they don't fit right, and are a waste of film.
He cut clear throwaway patterns on the exterior for each section, while having an assistant hold a light inside so he could see exactly where to cut. He then used the patterns to cut the film itself, which he first installed on the outside with a heat gun to form the curvature. He then installed them on the inside without the need for any more trimming.
For the time he took to do the job ~2hrs, $195 was really too cheap. The heat load is immensely reduced. I drove home with the sunshade rolled open; and the view was fantastic with no glare!
